9 Reasons You’ll be More Comfortable
Owning Furniture by Livingston
1. Coil on Coil Construction. (Livingston Style) -
Marshall Springs encased in high density foam and wrapped with polyester as well as the coil spring base give you the real thing: COIL ON COIL CONSTRUCTION.
2. Each piece of Livingston furniture is actually engineered for comfort. -
At Livingston, we know that in designing furniture, comfort is as important as beautiful appearance. Our years of experience have enabled us to construct furniture with properly angled backs to determine where softness of firmness is preferred, and to pay close attention to other details necessary for durable products that fit the human body.
3. High Density Foam goes into every seat cushion. -
Feel the extra heftiness. Cushions filled with the finest grade of high density cushioning material provide enduring support and resilience. Cushions hold their shape longer and resist breakdown across the fornt. Featuring Marshall Springs encased in High Density Foam (Livingston Style).
4. Attached Pillow Backs are filled with solid core foam or polyester fiber. -
All attached pillow backs are filled with a core of solid polyurethane or polyester fiber rather than shredded scrap poly-foam. This provides uniform shape without overfilling the pillow. You enjoy long-lasting comfort while your furniture retains that fresh, well-tailored look. Pillow backs feature bags with baffles to keep the Dacron from settling and hold its shape for years.
5. All Livingston seat cushions are wrapped with a layer of batted polyester. -
The polyester wrapping acts as a lubricant between the cushion core and the fabric outer cover, helping prevent “cover roll” and excessive stress on fabric. In addition, this wrapping gives each cushion a crowned, plump, well-tailored appearance.
6. Tempered Steel Coil Springs and Unitized Steel Spring construction provide uniform strength and comfort across the entire furniture seat area. -
Insulated, steel unitizing wires not only distribute weight across the furniture seat, but also prevent squeaking in the metal spring structure. Coil Springs provide lasting comfort and durability without putting stress on the frame.
7. You won’t find spindly legs on Livingston furniture. -
Many manufacturers put tiny, rickety legs on heavy, expensive furniture. At Livingston, we believe in a strong foundation, and always use thick, heavy-duty legs that will not bend or break easily. Our oak legs are made in the USA, assuring dependable supply and quality.
8. Livingston believes in a solid hardwood frame. -
At Livingston, we specify 4/4 and 5/4, #2 grade oak in our furniture frames. Our frames are handmade at our factory by skilled craftsmen.
9. Skilled hands assure consistent tailoring. -
Close attention is paid to ever small detail in the manufacturing of each piece of furniture. Much of the work is done by hands of highly skilled craftsmen, which is why our products consistently look nice. We’re careful to make seams straight and patterns matched so that you’ll be proud of your furniture for a long time. Bench made by Master Craftsmen. Never run down a production line, each piece is carefully hand crafted by some of the most skilled craftsmen in the world.
